Manufacturer Description |
The Fish Finder 100 is a full-featured 200 kHz sounder with temperature that's both waterproof and affordable. It rounds out GARMIN's complete line of sounders which includes the Fish Finder 160 and the Fish Finder 240. Although similar in features to both of these products, the Fish Finder 100 boasts one distinct difference: a lower price tag which makes it the perfect entry-level GARMIN sounder unit.
On the outside, the unit comes packaged in an attractive case that measures 5 w x 4.9'' h x 2.5'' d. The 2.5-inch diagonal display that makes detecting fish easy on the eyes, and it delivers the big picture thanks to a blue/green LCD STN display with 160 x 100 pixels. Even better you don't have to worry about this unit getting splashed as you reel in your fish because it was designed to withstand immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
But it's what's inside that really makes the Fish Finder 100 so impressive. The unit comes standard with GARMIN's exclusive See-Thru technology that allows it to hear both weak and strong signals at the same time. A graphic whiteline also included on the Fish Finder helps present a clear image of bottom hardness and structure. The benefit to fishing enthusiasts is a sounder that will detect fish even when suspended inside structure and thermoclines.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don Donald L. ON, May 11/12 |
nice web site, good layout-good pricing compared to US suppliers Steven S. BC, May 4/12 |
I have done alot of onlne ordering and this site is by far the best I have been on. Very clear and accurate presentation. I also like the fact that the credit card will not be charged until the item is shipped, not so with other places. Excellent smithers! Danny K. AB, May 4/12 |
