Pros: nice set up
Cons: loss of reception at times
Have only used one time will have to use it more to find out if I really like it

GARMIN GA30 ANTENNA
Pros: solid, compact unit.
Cons: none.
Very nice, compact unit. The necessary hardware and cabling are supplied for most installations. Wish that Garmin also supplied a short aluminum mast for it.

the antenna works fine but we have had to replace it 3 times now. It is on a tugboat and it works great but after a long period of not using it the antenna dies. It might not be the fault of the antenna , there may be another cause but I dont know why this happens. when it is working though it is great.
Recommend? NO OPINION

GOOD ANTENNA DESIGN
I like that cord has hook ups at both ends, my old one didn't so if the antenna goes bad again I wont necessarily have to pull a new cord threw the hull, it also came with multiple mounting options. I like it...
