Manufacturer Description |
If you're mounting your GPS unit below deck, you will need this waterproof remote marine antenna above deck to receive the required GPS signals. With 30 feet of cable, you should be able to mount this antenna anywhere. If you need a little more length, you can always purchase a Garmin GA29 Extension Cable
The newly designed Garmin GA29 Antenna has the ability to be mounted either to a pole or directly to a flat surface.
The antenna comes as a surface mounted antenna, connected to a pole mounting base. The antenna simply unscrews from the pole base allowing you to mount the antenna base to a flat surface.
Pole Mounting Options (not included):
The pole base has a 1'' x 14 female thread for pole mounting. This base connects to the following bases:
• RAM Mount 2.5'' Base with a 1.5'' ball and 1'' x 14 male thread (RAM-112)
• RAM Mount 2/3'' to 1'' Stainless Steel U-Bolt Base with a 1.5'' ball and 1'' x 14 male thread (RAM-112R)
• Standard 1'' x 14 Antenna Mount (available a Marine Stores)
• Standard 1'' x 14 Rail Mount Bracket (available a Marine Stores)
