Garmin eTrex Suction Mount Tips The battery cover that is included with the mount is require to attach the unit to the Auto Mount. The battery cover also has a thin rubber seal around its outer perimeter edge. This is very important as it adds to the water resistance of the unit.
Garmin eTrex Suction Mount Description Do you have a funky, contoured dash that won't allow you to mount your eTrex level? Solution: suction cup mount. Stick this mount to the inside of the windshield or window and snap the eTrex into place. The bracket arm is hinged, so you can adjust to your heart's content and get the unit out of direct sunlight.
To attach the suction cup to a glass surface, simply hold it up to the surface, then press the small leaver at the back of the suction cup.
CONNECTION GPS TO MOUNT: Included with this mount is a battery cover case which has a male locking connection to join your eTrex unit to the mount.
