Do you have a funky, contoured dash that won't allow you to mount your eMap level? Solution: suction cup mount. Stick this mount to the inside of the windshield or window and snap the eMap into place. The bracket is jointed, so you can adjust to your heart's content and get the unit out of direct sunlight.
To attach the suction cup to a glass surface, simply hold it up to the surface, then press the small leaver at the back of the suction cup.

This is the Non-Skid Friction Marine mount with a dash mount base attached. This mount is bundles with Auto Mount converters for the base of the suction and marine mounts. Simply unscrew the bottom 'leg' of your existing mount, attach the correct Auto Mount base, and then clip it into the friction mount base. The weight of the 'bean filled' base will hold your mount and unit right were you left it. Click here for more information. |
An alternative to the Garmin mount is the RAM-B-148-GA4, shown below, which uses a larger suction cup (4 inches).

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS.
