DAKOTA CARABINER CLIP
Pros: easy on and off Cons: none so far
Haven't had a chance to use it, but it's very easy to install and as easy to remove - as opposed to another review I read. This should prove to be quite useful as the season approaches.

GOOD, BUT NOT SURE ABOUT
Pros: well-made Cons: probably not for all use cases
First off: Yes, it is very difficult to use the GPS while hooked onto something with this. I am not sure I understand this from a design perspective...I guess their use case for it is not what I imagined. But it seems well-built, and I can see some uses for it, depending on what you want to do.
Personally, I have been using the belt clip with the retractable lanyard. The lanyard keeps it from getting away from me while holding on to a large rock for dear life (or whatever :D), and I love the retractability. The belt clip keeps it from dangling while also keeping it handy (love the quick release).

GOOD AND SECURE
Pros: heavy duty
The strap may be a little short but that may be to keep the GPSr from flopping around too much. It is nice and heavy duty.

GREAT CLIP
Pros: works great Cons: none
Don't believe the 3 or 1 star ratings. It's common sense and the clip works perfectly on my gpsmap 62. It clips on strong and you can't unclip it unless you're wanting to. Of course you have unclip the caribener from your pack or belt loop or whatever you have it clipped to, in order to use your gps.
I researched this clip for days and called the factory to make sure it would work. Gpscity is the absolute lowest price on the net. I also saw it for $24.95 and that's crazy.

IT HOLDS IT
Cons: hangs the wrong way
Don't know what to think of it. It'll probably just sit in a draw at home. It clips on to the GPS easily and you can clip it to your belt loop or jacket but i can also put the GPS in my pocket for cheaper. The carabiner should be on the opposite side so you can leave it clipped on to look at the GPS. To actually use the GPS you have to unclip it. It should hang upside down so you can just hold it up to read it.

DOESN'T CLIP WELL
Cons: clip isn't very functional.
I thought it would clip to my belt or backpack, but I haven't been impressed. The clip isn't long enough and is extremely hard to get on, and usually when pulling it off it just unhooks the clip from the GPS and falls to the ground. The carabiner works fine if you don't mind it just dangling from your bag.

GARMIN CARABINER REVIEW
Awesome... just what I was expecting. I clip it to my jacket when snow boarding, took a few falls and stayed in place.
