For those who prefer a lighter color watch, Garmin International is pleased to announce the Approach S1 in white, an innovative GPS golf watch that gives players precise distances to the front, back and middle of greens. Approach S1 also measures individual shot distances, functions as a high-quality, everyday watch and it has an odometer to tell you how far you’ve travelled – on or off the course. Approach S1 comes preloaded with 14,000-plus U.S and Canadian courses so there’s no need for subscriptions or downloads – simply select “Start Round” and you’re ready to tee off. Rugged and waterproof, Approach S1 weighs only 1.8 ounces, has an ultra-thin backlit display, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts up to three weeks in watch mode or eight hours in GPS mode.

My fourth purchase from gpscity. Previous 3 went great and I expect this one will as well. I do feel rather sheepish though. This last week I've been combing the net for a golf GPS. For some reason this evening the lights went on - gpscity. Thank goodness I remembered you folks. I'll never know what took so long though. Anyway, I got to you and I feel much better now. :) Don
