 The Edge 500 cycling GPS from Garmin will tranform the way cycling technology is viewed from now on. At only 2 oz., this new high-sensitivity reciever GPS does not require calibration, connects wirelessly to ANT+ compatible power meters, and can be transferred between bikes swiftly and effortlessly.
Dan Bartel, Garmin's Vice President of world-wide sales, describes the newest Edge unit as, "a lightweight cycling computer that’s powerful enough for the pros yet simple enough for beginners." Expanding the Nuvi line with Wi-Fi and EDGE

Garmin is expanding their ever-growing Nuvi lineup with 2 new additions. These are the Garmin Nuvi 1690 and the Garmin Nuvi 1860. Recently not only has information leaked regarding the hardware details, but also a few photos of their user interface and web browser have also cropped up.
The Garmin Nuvi 1690, ETA some time after September 2009, features a 4.3 inch WVGA display and supports such technologies as text-to-speech, hands-free calling with Bluetooth connectivity, and the new EDGE function.

Garmin Connect – the next generation of MotionBased -- is now open to all Garmin fitness devices. Garmin Connect offers a better experience with a cleaner user interface and improved site performance that you’ll enjoy when analyzing your workout data on new and improved features.
