The next couple of weeks will see the first warm long weekends we've seen in a long time! Monday, May 21, Canadians will observe Victoria Day and the following Monday, May 28, Americans will celebrate Memorial Day. There may be a Geocaching Event taking place near you or it just might be you and some friends checking out the local caches. Geocaching is an excellent way to explore your surroundings and find new favorite spots. The Canadian events span the nation from Coast to Coast, Greater Vancouver Area cachers would love to see you at Fort Langley on May, 19 or if you're out East in the Maritimes make sure to visit Yarmouth, NS and the Bay of Fundy for more caching fun. Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec and Saskatchewan groups are also hosting events during this long weekend, check the geocaching.com calendar to find one near you! May 26-28 will see a variety of events across the United States of America! From small meet and greets, to large CITO (Cache In Trash Out) get-togethers. Meet some new friends or bring along a pal, and enjoy the great outdoors.
