Garmin's golf GPS lineup is expanding once again with the addition of the Approach S3. Garmin listened to their customers and brought some great new features to the Golf watch that is due to ship in April. Users can create and save custom locations like water hazards and sand traps with just a push of a button, and view doglegs and layups as well as the player's distance to the front, back and middle of the green. A lithium-ion rechargable battery allows up to 8 hours of play or 4 weeks of standard watch use. You can even keep your scores digitally and print the data afterwards to keep track of Stroke play and Stableford. This revolutionary touchscreen GPS golf watch includes over 27,000 courses worldwide, subscription-free! New for 2012 are the Lifetime Course Updates, which have course changes as well as new course information. While this new model shares some key features with its predecessor the Approach S1 - waterproof and a great user interface - the new design is sleeker and slimmer with a glove-friendly touchscreen, and adds a host of new features.
