 Starting today, the tenth annual Teva Mountain Games are happening in Vail, Colorado. The Games are the largest celebration of adventure-based sporting activities worldwide, offering competition in 8 sports and 24 disciplines. Drawing both professional and amateur athletes, approximately 3,000 competitors and 40,000 viewers are expected in Vail during June 2 to June 5.
For three of the four days, Garmin and its community-based geocaching website, OpenCaching.com, will be offering free geocaching events for all in attendance. Garmin, the official GPS partner of the Games, will have their GPS devices available to borrow during all geocaching activities.
This week, Garmin announced the newly redesigned eTrex and Rino in anticipation of the Teva Mountain Games.
