 Announced last week and unveiled at the Teva Mountain Games, the GPSMAP 62sc and GPSMAP 62stc are new rugged outdoor GPS handhelds from Garmin. Both GPS handhelds have a 5 megapixel, auto-focus camera. The camera automatically geotags, saving the locations of pictures. Also, since GPSMAP series are waterproof to IPX7 standard, the camera can be used in all weather.
Other key features for both the GPSMAP 62sc and GPSMAP 62stc are: - 2.6" color display

For the GPSMAP 62 series, the different letters denote different features included with the GPS. The 's' stands for integrated sensors (electronic compass and barometric altimeter). The 't' stands for preloaded topographical maps which consists of 100k topo maps for the United States and 50k topo maps for Canada. Lastly, 'c' means there is a built-in camera on the unit. |
